My first fee? Two hundred crowns from a foreign tourist on Charles Bridge on Easter 1987. It was a miniature of Prague Castle on a Lilliputian canvas measuring one by one centimeter. Back then about ten of us got together on Charles Bridge among the kitsch sellers to paint Prague Castle, but differently. As the finale, we took running starts and threw paint at an enormous canvas. We caused one hell of a gathering of people. Then we drank our profits away in a beer garden on Kampa and watched the paddy wagons ride up and down the bridge.
