The initial idea was to get sponsorship money for an exhibition, use the money to buy the latest model BMW, and ceremoniously drive off in it after the opening for the exhibition, where only the car’s technical specifications, BMW brochures, and papers about getting sponsorships would be exhibited. Over time I changed the concept into a version with a department store and the car was supposed to be displayed on a pedestal in front of the gallery. At the pedestal base there would be an explanation that I was buying the car from the money I made from sales inside the gallery. Understandably, the event would take place with the assistance of the media, whom I’d give a few promotional rides. But this version won’t be realized, either. In the end I decided to do a partial recapitulation.
