In the most disgusting place in Liberec there’s a disgusting bus stop. I was supposed to prepare another, less disgusting one. It’s starting to be made, it should be done by the end of the year.

I was contacted about the stop sometime in the fall of 2002. And in January or February I sent a few designs. My table is much more of a game. On the table is a still life with things that are directly related to the history of Liberec. The composition of the still life is food, which comes, leaves, flocks, moves… It’s not a random throng. I don’t know if it’ll turn out well. I remember that for me, when I was a kid, it was fun to be under the table. Lots of people are like that. And I’ve seen it at parties, where people suddenly crawl under the table because it’s an intimate space. You look under chicks’ skirts … It’s a slightly protected space that we remember from childhood.
